Nashville Presbytery's Pastor Support Group is a voluntary meeting of
interested clergy and church leaders who meet on the second Monday of each month
at the invitation of a host pastor for the purposes as stated:
- The primary purpose of the PSG is to give an
opportunity for the participants to share their concerns, passions, and
expertise in areas of ministry which is of interest to them.
- A hoped for results is that the leaders of
Presbytery will have more passion and effectiveness for ministry and thereby
to strengthen Nashville Presbytery.
- An additional purpose is to fulfill the exhortation to
ordained clergy found in 1 Timothy 4:14 "Do not neglect the gift
that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the
hands of the presbytery."
Everyone interested in fulfilling the above purposes is invited to attend.
Contact the facilitator,
Don Winn, if you
have a question, want to invite the group to meet at your place, or if you
have a topic of interest to share with the group.
